Air Conditioner-Interlocking Function At Engine Start
<Only the car with automatic climate control>

The automatic climate control car is equipped with the function that automatically activates the air conditioner
(defroster) and heating wire (rear defogger/heated door mirror) at the engine start provided that the ambient
temperature is 5°C (41°F) or below
on the meter and the actual temperature.)
To activate the air conditioner automatically, be sure to perform the following setting before proceeding to the
setting of the following page.
Before setting air conditioner-interlocking function ON and check of the setting:
Setting air conditioner-interlocking function ON and check must be made with the car air conditioner OFF. Turn
the car air conditioner OFF with the ignition switch in the "II" position and turn the ignition switch to the "0"
position before setting.
