NUTRUNNER MOTOR MAINTENANCE

Always follow the proposed maintenance schedule and have it carried out by Fiam
authorised service centres. When integrating nutrunner motors into machines with
a PLC, make the need for maintenance evident (through the master PLC) and activate
alerts every 1,000,000 cycles to remind about routine maintenance on the nutrunner
motor.
It may be necessary to carry out maintenance ahead of the scheduled times in espe-
cially heavy usage conditions.
Specific conditions (environmental or usage) could alter correct reduction unit ope-
ration over time: if you detect an increase in noise from the nutrunner motor or, more
generally, a decrease in efficiency, we recommend stopping the nutrunner motor
and taking it to a Fiam authorised service centre for maintenance. Acting promptly to
grease the unit properly will protect the components from damage due to wear and
prevent related issues.

WARRANTY

The warranty on eTensil systems only applies if the usage restrictions specified in the
manual are respected. Fiam reserves the right NOT to uphold the warranty on sys-
tems for which there is evidence of tampering with the seals placed to ensure integ-
rity, and in the event of damage that can be attributed to incorrect or improper use.
