It should be noted that the first four functions are alternative, while the next six are inde-
pendent (independent = once enabled, these remain active together with the other en-
abled functions).
RESET: once you have entered the SMART-PRO menu, keep the lever pressed for at least
3 seconds.
* Some of the aforementioned starting methods may not be available for the whole range.

Do not clamp the tool at other points because this could damage it and
compromise its working operation; in such case Fiam cannot be held
responsible for any damage to the tool.

Before starting work, hold the tool firmly as
shown in figure 1. For torques in excess of 4Nm
clamp the tool to a reaction arm; the body of the
tool can be clamped (figure 3) or the specific ring
can be used (figure 2 code 6920779180) the tool
can be clamped on its shell, the dedicated ring, or
at the top (fig. 4). The E8C...RE and E8C..90°/30°
models can be clampled on the shell only (fig. 3).
The tool should be clamped as shown in the figu-
res above.
