Completely retract the boom cylinder.

Swing the boom from the central position approx. 10 to 15 degrees to the right.

Attach the lifting gear with a shackle to the lifting eye (1) on
the left side of the boom.

Attach the lifting gear with shackles to the lifting eyes (see
figure) on each side of the dozer.
Tension the lifting gear slightly with the crane (see figure).
As soon as the lifting gear is attached to the exca-
vator, press cloths between lifting gear and excava-
tor to protect the excavator.
Always keep the machine level. Be sure that the centre line of
the crane hook is aligned as exactly as possible with the rotation
centre line of the excavator and that the lifting angle is
the excavator.
