Loosen the four captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. 3. Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover from the bottom left and continue to work on the sides to open the base cover. 4.

Slide and remove the memory module from the memory-module slot. CAUTION: To prevent damage to the memory module, hold the memory module by the edges.
