PROBLEM
Cooking results are not
what you expected
The display is
showing "PF"
A letter followed by a
number shows on the
display (for example
"E3", "F1")
The key pads do not
operate
If none of these items was causing your problem, see "Requesting Assistance or Service"
on pages 54 and 55.
CAUSE
The oven is not level. (See Installation Instructions.)
The oven temperature seems too low or too high. See
"Adjusting oven temperature" on page 22 to adjust oven
temperature.
You did not preheat the oven before baking (if called for
in recipe).
The recipe you are using may need to be altered to
improve the taste or appearance of the food.
You are using a pan that is not the correct type or size.
Refer to a reliable cookbook or recipe for recommended
pan type and size.
There is not enough air space around pan when baking.
Allow 1
1
to 2 inches (4-5 cm) of air space on all sides of
2
pan. There must be a minimum space of 1 inch.
There has been a power failure. Reset the clock.
(See page 14.)
Press Cancel/Off pad. If the code reappears, note the
code and call for service. (See Step 2 on pages 54 and 55.)
The Control Lock has been set. (See "Using the control
lock" on page 9.) Turn off the Control Lock by pressing
and holding the Control Lock pad (Number Pad 3) for
5 seconds.
The Sabbath mode has been set ("Sab" appears on the
display). Turn off the Sabbath mode by pressing and
holding Number Pad 6 for 5 seconds.
