A long beep tells you that the iron has been connected to the
mains.The temperature control display lights up and 'OFF'
appears.

Press temperature control button ¢ to select the required

ironing temperature.
A short beep indicates that the temperature setting has been changed.
Check the garment label for the required ironing temperature:

Synthetic fabrics (e.g. acrylic, nylon, polyamide, polyester)
1
Silk
2 Wool
3 Cotton, linen
- If you do not know what kind(s) of fabric(s) an article is made of,
determine the right ironing temperature by ironing a part that will
not be visible when you wear or use the article.
- Silk, woollen and synthetic materials: iron the reverse side of the
fabric to prevent shiny patches. Avoid using the spray function to
prevent stains.
- Start ironing the articles that require the lowest ironing temperature,
such as those made of synthetic fibres.

When you press temperature control button ¢ to increase the

ironing temperature, the newly selected temperature indication
and symbol V start to blink.

Wait until the iron has reached the selected temperature.You
will hear a double beep and the temperature indication and
symbol stop blinking.

If you wish to select a lower ironing temperature, just press
temperature control button £ to reduce the temperature.
A short beep indicates that the temperature setting has been changed.
