HOW TO CONNECT THE DVI 1000 Connect the DVI 1000 sender unit to the DVI source using the supplied cables. Connect the DVI 1000 receiver unit to your DVI display. Connect the four fi ber optics and one CAT5 cable between the sender and receiver. Plug the 12VDC power supplies into the DVI 1000 receiver. -

HOW TO CONNECT THE DVI 1000 (w/o DDC) The DVI 1000HD can be hooked up without using the CAT5 if DDC is not needed. A second power supply will be required to power the receiver unit in this setup. For computer extensions where EDID is needed, a DVI Detective can be purchased to store the EDID of the display. -
