SENDER PANEL DESCRIPTIONS Power LED This LED will be active when the supplied 12V DC power adapter is connected. Status LED This LED will be active when a solid link has been established between the sender and receiver units. Clock ST Fiber Connector Connect the Fiber cable that will be used to transmit the Clock signal to this connector.
RECEIVER PANEL DESCRIPTIONS Power LED This LED will be active when the supplied 12V DC power adapter is connected. Status LED This LED will be active when a solid link has been established between the sender and receiver units. Red ST Fiber Connector Connect the Fiber cable that will be used to receive the Red signal to this connector.
CONNECTING AND OPERATING THE DVI•1000ST Connect the DVI 1000 ST sender unit to the DVI source using the supplied cables. Connect the DVI 1000 ST receiver unit to your DVI display. Connect the four fi ber optics and one CAT5 cable between the sender and receiver.
Gefen has specifi cally engineered their products to work with the TIA/EIA-568-B specifi cation. Please adhere to the table below when fi eld terminating cable for use with Gefen products. Failure to do so may produce unexpected results and reduced performance.
