1.10.2 Split pulse output The meter has two pulse outputs which can be connected to two different devices. First output (white wire): pulses are generated regardless of flow direction. When com- bined with the direction output (yellow wire) it is also possible to distinguish the direction of flow.
The 4mA value represents the null flow rate while the 20mA value is the maximum flow rate ) which varies according to the diameter of the meter. The 4-20mA output of the E-Bulk is a passive circuit and must be powered by an external device not supplied to the customer.

Install the meter: – protected from frost (insulate it if necessary with insulation material) and in the lower part of the system to prevent air accumulation; – protected from blows and tampering, where readings are easy to make; – so that the direction of the arrow on the device coincides with the flow direction. Install proper interception valves upstream and downstream of the meter to permit main- tenance operations and inspections on the device, as well as to check the system.

WARNING! Sensitivity class in installation conditions: H U3-D0, V U3-D0 Correct meter installation requires a straight length upstream equal to or great- er than 3 times the diameter of the instrument (H/V U3). Downstream, this pre- caution is not required (H/V D0). If the U and/or D letters are followed by the letter S, install a flow straightener.
