before first use
Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: carefully unpack
the appliance and remove all the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the
appliance after unpacking for any damage which may have occurred during transport.
Insert or replace the batteries
1. Slide off the battery cover.
2. Install the batteries by matching the correct polarity, as shown.
3. Always use the correct battery type (2 x AAA batteries).
4. Replace the cover.
Replace the batteries whenever the below happens:
The shows
The display dims
The display does not light up
CAUTION:
• Remove the batteries if the device is not likely to be used for some time.
• The old batteries are harmful to the environment; do not dispose of them with other daily trash.
• Remove the old batteries from the device and follow your local recycling guidelines.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
