PGA2500EVMV2 Evaluation Module
This user's guide describes the characteristics, operation, and use of the PGA2500EVMV2, a refreshed
evaluation module (EVM) that is compatible with the PGA2500 on a modern operating system. This document
includes the schematic, printed circuit board (PCB) layout, and Bill Of Materials (BOM). Throughout this
document the terms evaluation board, evaluation module, and EVM are synonymous with the universal
PGA2500EVMV2.

    3.1 Electrostatic Discharge Warning Many of the components on the PGA2500EVMV2 are susceptible to damage by electrostatic discharge (ESD). Customers are advised to observe proper ESD handling precautions when unpacking and handling the EVM. Failure to observe ESD handling procedures may result in damage to the EVM components.

VA+ is typically set to +5.0 V DC, while VA− is typically set to −5.0 V DC. The analog supplies power the PGA2500 microphone preamplifier integrated circuit.
