Making calls

Using the handset

Lift the handset and dial the phone
number.
R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN.

Press M N or MCALLN.

When you finish talking, press
MOFFN or place the handset on the
base unit or charger.
Using the speakerphone

Dial the phone number and press
M N.
R Speak alternately with the other
party.

When you finish talking, press
MOFFN.
Note:
R For best performance, use the
speakerphone in a quiet environment.
R To switch back to the receiver, press
M N / M N.
Adjusting the receiver or speaker
volume
Press MDN or MCN repeatedly while talking.
Making a call using the redial list
The last 5 phone numbers dialed are
stored in the redial list (each 48 digits
max.).

MREDIALN or MEN REDIAL
R If there is a new message in the
voice mail or answering system,
MREDIALN is not displayed.

MCN / MDN: Select the desired phone
number.

unit after storing phone number in
speed dial key (page 25).

Press the speed dial key (MAN to
MCN).

speak into the microphone.

R While on a call, you can switch from
the base unit to the handset:
– Press M N on the handset, then
press M N on the base unit with
the call sharing feature on
(page 16).
– If the handset is on the base unit,
simply lift it.
