Élimination de la pile
Cet aspirateur contient une pile au
nickel-cadmium (ni-cad). La pile ni-cad
doit être recyclée ou éliminée
correctement. Contactez votre centre de
recyclage local pour les renseignements
concernant le recyclage ou la mise aux
rebuts des piles ni-cad.
SOLUTION POSSIBLE
1. Laissez l'appareil refroidir
pendant 20 minutes avant
de recharger.

fusible ou réinitialisez le
disjoncteur.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before Use
1. This cordless hand vacuum is powered
by rechargeable a nickel-cadmium
battery pack. Before using the hand
vacuum for the first time, charge the
for approximately 90 minutes. The
charging light indicator will turn off
when the unit is fully charged.
NOTE: Ensure that the On/Off
switch is in the "Off" position
before charging.
2. The normal full charging time for this
vacuum is 60-75 minutes. The
charging light indicator will turn off
once the unit is fully charged. The
hand vacuum will run for maximum
operational time only if it has been fully
charged. To fully charge the unit, run
the hand vacuum until it stops, then
fully recharge the battery.
NOTE: Peak performance may only be
realized after the unit has been
charged and discharged two (2) or
three (3) times.
IMPORTANT: To maintain peak
performance of your cordless hand
vacuum, it is recommended that the
unit be fully discharged, then
completely re-charged at least once a
month.
Charging Your Vacuum Cleaner
1. Place the unit near an electrical power
outlet (120 V., 60 Hz.) and turn it off.
The battery can not charge if the unit is
turned on.
2. Plug the charging adaptor into the
charging jack. (Fig. 1)

3. Plug the charging adapter into the
wall outlet. The charging indicator
light will light up to indicate that the
hand vacuum is being charged.
(See Fig. 2) Recharging time is
approximately 60-75 minutes.
NOTE: The charging light indicator will
turn off once the unit is fully
charged.

4. Always allow the hand vacuum to rest
for 20 minutes before recharging.
NOTE: The charging indicator light will
not go on if recharging immediately
after use.
CAUTION: Unplug the charging adaptor
from the outlet if it will not be used for
a long period of time. If the unit has not
been used for a long time, recharging
is required. Failure to do this could
cause damage to the battery.
WARNING: The standard time for
recharging is approximately 60-75
minutes. A difference in recharging
time may exist as the conditions or
operation change.
If the charging indicator light
remains on after 75 minutes, unplug
the charging adaptor from the outlet
in order to avoid overcharging.
NOTE: The charging adaptor and the
body of the unit may become warm
during recharging. This is normal and
does not affect the performance of the
unit.
