    Random Access Memory (DDR4 SDRAM) is packaged only in 288-pin Dual In-Line Memory Modules (DIMMs). Your CIARA Horizon D10170 / T10170 uses only DIMM memory modules. Each DIMM module can have a capacity of 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB. The minimum system capacity is 8 GB and the maximum system capacity is 64 GB. Furthermore, the memory has to be of the SPD type (Serial Presence Detect) to insure optimal operation.

To remove the hard drive, pull the locking tab. To secure the drive, push down the locking tabs.

The equipment log is also helpful if your CIARA computer is lost, stolen, or damaged. All this work is done for you at the CIARA factory enabling the system to be ready to start on Power on. However, we are describing this procedure as a means of transparency.

    CIARA Horizon D10170 / T10170 GLOSSARY 32-Bit -- In computer architecture, 32-bit integers, memory addresses, or other data units are those that are at most 32 bits (4 octets) wide. Also, 32-bit CPU and ALU architectures are those that are based on registers, address buses, or data buses of that size. 32-bit is also a term given to a generation of computers in which 32-bit processors were the norm.
