Deleting a cordless handset (using the cordless handset)
If you wish to stop using a cordless handset, follow the steps below to delete it
(cancel the registration in the machine).

A cordless handset should normally be deleted using that cordless handset
as explained below. Only use the machine to delete a cordless handset (as
explained in the following section) if the cordless handset has failed and
cannot be used.

On the cordless handset that you wish
to delete, hold down
display at right appears.

on the cordless handset.

The cordless handset display will go dark while the cordless handset is
deleted.

When deletion of the cordless handset
is finished, the display at right will
appear.
