Appliance Preparation
A. Vent Collar Preparation
CAUTION! Risk of Cuts, Abrasions or Flying Debris.
Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during instal-
lation. Sheet metal edges are sharp.
NOTICE: Once appliance is set up for top or rear venting,
it CANNOT be changed at a later time.
WARNING! Risk of Fire! Do not remove heat shield. El-
evated header temperatures may cause a fire.

1. Remove two screws and discard. See Figure 6.1.
2. Fold up top heat shield to 90 degrees as shown in
Figure 6.2.

1. Remove two screws and remove shipping support.
See Figure 6.3.
2. Remove and discard shipping support, seal cap, and
screws. See Figure 6.4.
