Before operating or assembling your Alanté, be sure to connect the power
cable from the batteries to the VR2 power module. Your Alanté will not power up or
operate without completing this step.
1. Remove the battery cover and body shroud by lifting them straight up and off the
power chair. See figure 2.
2. Plug the power cable into the VR2 power module. See figure 3.
3. Replace the shrouds, making sure not to pinch the joystick control cable.

4. Connect the joystick control to the VR2 power module. See figure 5.
