[Baby Monitor]

You can use your smartphone to check on your baby being monitored by this unit when you are in
another room. The smartphone and this unit can be used like radio transceivers, allowing the users
to have a conversation by taking turns. This unit can also send a notification to the smartphone
whenever the baby cries.
≥ You need to turn on the Wi-Fi function of your smartphone.
≥ If [CLOCK SET]

≥ Notifications cannot be sent to more than one smartphone.
≥ Check your contract details carefully, as smartphone and internet contract details may
result in high communication charges being incurred, or a limit placed on
communication traffic.
Caution:
≥ It is the responsibility of parents or guardians to check on their child. Use [Baby Monitor]
only as an aid.
≥ Place this unit so that it will be out of the reach of the baby.

Preparations before using [Baby Monitor]

1 Check if the wireless access point is compatible with IEEE802.11b/g/n.
2 Install the smartphone application "Image App" on your smartphone. (
3 Set up a Wi-Fi connection between this unit and the wireless access point.

≥ Searching for wireless access points to set up a connection
≥ Setting up a connection manually
4 When the Wi-Fi connection is complete, follow the procedure in "Using [Baby
Monitor]".
≥ Using [Wi-Fi Setup Wizard], you can also set up a Wi-Fi connection in conjunction with the
smartphone application "Image App".
≥ [Baby Monitor] is not available in the following cases:
j When [REC FORMAT] is set to [24p]
j While motion picture/still picture tab [24p] is selected in the Playback Mode
