Power save function and operation

When the power is turned on and the machine is not used for a certain duration of time, the machine
automatically enters power save mode. When a job occurs in power save mode, the machine
returns to the state in which it can execute the job (standby). Operation during the return to standby
is described in the following. The power save mode is explained in the operation manual for the unit.
Copy jobs
When copy settings are entered and the START key pressed, the copy job is stored. The
copy job begins when the machine returns to standby.
Print jobs
The data is spooled. Printing begins when the machine returns to standby.
Fax jobs
Fax transmission
Transmission begins immediately.
Fax reception
Faxes are received to memory. Faxes are printed when the machine returns to standby.
Scan jobs
Scan jobs begin immediately.
