1. Fan case
(1) Disassembly
Remove the Bolt M5 x 20 [115] and Screw [101], and then remove the Fan Case [112]. Next, remove
Pipe Holder (A) [108], Anti Vibe Rubber (A) [107], Pipe Holder (B) [109], and Anti Vibe Rubber (B)
[110] in this order. When it is necessary to remove the Clutch Shaft [116], remove the Retaining Ring
[113], and then place the Fan Case [112] so that its surface to be mated with the crank case faces
down, while being careful about positioning of the 4.1-mm dia. pins and spigot. Then use a hand press
to slowly push the shaft of Clutch Shaft [116] in order to remove the Clutch Shaft [116], while being
careful not to damage the ball bearing in the Fan Case [112].
(2) Reassembly
While holding the inner ring of the ball bearing in the Fan Case [112], slowly press-fit the Clutch Shaft
[116], and then mount the Retaining Ring [113].
Mount Anti Vibe Rubber (B) [110], Pipe Holder (B) [109], Anti Vibe Rubber (A) [107], and Pipe Holder
(A) [108] on the Fan Case [112] in this order.
If it is difficult to fit in Pipe Holder (A) [108], apply a thin coating of gasoline to its surfaces that contact
Anti Vibe Rubber (A) [107].
