1. Prepare for Installation

NOTE: For bath-only and shower-only installations, seal the unused
outlet with the plug provided.
When the trim will include a slip-fit bath spout, 1/2" tubing must
extend 1-1/2" (3.8 cm) minimum to 2-7/8" (7.3 cm) maximum
beyond the finished wall at the bath spout location.
When the bath spout is threaded, the nipple must extend 3-7/8"
(9.8 cm) beyond the finished wall at the bath spout location.
Determine the installation location of the valve and install
support framing as needed.
