3. Operation

Turn on the UPS
During power up the MODBUS adaptor will check the UPS communication version if it supports the
version it will run.
The MDX2 MODBUS adaptor supports TX100, TX300 and TX301 UPS communication protocols.
For Test Purpose download MODBUS tester program from the link
4. Indicator Lamp
Lamp status
RS232 led (green) Always on
RS232 led Regular Blink
RS232 led Irregular blinking
MODBUS led (yellow) Always on
MODBUS led Regular Blink
ALARM led

The indicator lamps on the MODBUS adaptor shows the status of communication.

Description
Adaptor power on and UPS RS232 connection is lost
False status
Adaptor is communicating with UPS
Adaptor do not support some UPS commands
