2. Unpacking and assembly

The Styrofoam case contains the following parts:
Remove the microscope from the Styrofoam case. The eyepieces are already in place.

3. Supporting plate

The supporting plate is to be selected according to the material to be examined. The
transparent glass plate is used for transparent materials, the white plate for coloured
and the black plate for white materials.

4. Focusing

• Microscope stand with microscope head
• Eye pieces and lenses attached to the microscope
head
• B/W contrast plate as stand base
(only for models without swivel arm)
• Transparent glass plate
(only for models with transmitted light and without
swivelling arm)
• Vinyl protecting cap
• Instruction manual
• Place the material to be examined on the supporting
plate and illuminate, if necessary.
• While looking through the microscope, release the
locking screw and move the head up and down until
the image is in focus. Now, fasten the screw.
You can get a sharp image of the material by slowly
turning the focus adjustment knob.
