CPC522 4 CPC522 Installation The CPC522 module can be installed into the system with little effort. However, the following rules, warnings, and procedures must be strictly followed in order to properly install the module, avoid damages to the product, system components, and prevent personal injuries.

7.1.1 Passive temperature control The structure of the temperature control mode of the CPC522 can be represented as certain functions whose purpose is to protect the processor and reduce its power consumption. The use of thermal control circuits allows the processor to maintain a safe operating temperature without the need for special software drivers and interrupt handling procedures.
Table 7-1 shows the maximum allowable supply voltages, exceeding which may result in module damages. The power supplies with which the CPC522 module will be used must be tested to ensure they meet these requirements.
