Chapter 1 – Quick Start

Overview

The Reveal™ high-bandwidth vibration sensor measures vibration speed at low frequency ranges (10Hz – 1kHz),
and peak g-force at high frequency ranges (1.5kHz – 10kHz). The sensor can support between one and four
independent vibration inputs referred to as "channels" in this document. The vibration sensor can be used for
simple motor on/off functionality, or vibration analysis utilizing ISO standards such as ISO 10816. The high
frequencies are used for more advanced analysis not specified in ISO standards.
