The required diesel must be stored in a container clearly marked with "Diesel".
Please observe the applicable regulations valid for your country when diesel.
Never use "bio-diesel".
We recommend for you to use winter diesel if temperatures are below 5°C to avoid problems with
fuel.
Diesel will age. Therefore they should be used up within 6 months.
Only refuel outdoors and when the appliance has cooled down.
Remove the tank cover.
Fill the tank up slowly with diesel until the tank is filled. The tank volume is 46 Litres.
Replace the tank cover.
3.5. Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage of the power source must agree with the voltage
specified on the nameplate of the machine. Before you connect the appliance to the power supply
make sure that the data on the rating plate are identical to the mains data. The appliance marked with
230 V can also be operated with 220 V.
3.6. In the heater is powered by generators that do not have sufficient capacity, respectively not
have appropriate control voltage, to increase the starting current by switching on can be observed a
temporary drop in power or unusual behaviour of the heater. Please make sure you use the generator
is appropriate, especially in terms of voltage and frequency.
4. Start up. Switching ON.
4.1. Switch the ON/OFF switch to ON. This position of the On/Off switch may be marked with (I).
4.2. In case of defective ignition or overheating the flame-out control system shuts the heater off.
If this occurs:
4.2.1. Turn switch to "Off" (0).
4.2.2. Detected and rectify the cause of lock-out. In particular the air inlet and outlet sections
should not be obstructed and the fan should rotate freely;
4.2.4. Switching back on.
Wait a few minutes to let the heater cool.
Turn switch to "On" (I).
5. Shut-down.
Turn switch to "Off" (0).
Pull the power plug.
6. Maintain and service.
6.1. Maintenance and cleaning.
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting any cleaning work.
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible.
Wipe the appliance down with a clean cloth or blast it with compressed air at low pressure.
We recommend cleaning the appliance immediately after every use.
Clean the appliance regularly with a damp cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents
or solvents; these may be aggressive to the plastic parts in the appliance.
Ensure that no water can get into the interior of the appliance.
6.2. At the end of the season.
Drain the fuel tank via the tank opening, stow the appliance in its own original cardboard packaging
and store it in a dry, dust and frost-free place.
6.3 Maintenance.
Maintenance must only be carried out by trained personnel. Please contact customer service.
