Each Move/5000 device needs its own wired internet connection and unique IP address. It cannot use the same internet cable connected to the PC.

Connecting Move/5000 PINpad to Existing Wireless Network Before starting this process, you must have the Move/5000 connected to a power source or fully charged. If the screen turns off, select the green button on keypad to turn screen back on. (This only happens when the device isn’t connected to power source.) 1.

Configure WiFi Communication Port Follow the instructions below to set up communication between CRE and the Ingenico Move/5000 device. 1. With the PINpad powered on, touch the screen to stop the screen saver, then select ADMIN. 2. Scroll down and select Misc. Options or press 8 on the keypad.

Configuring CRE/RPE for use with Global Payments EMV You can configure CRE to communicate to the Pin Pad by following the step below. 1. Select the Manager or Options button and enter the credentials if prompted. 2. Select Setup then, Setup Screen. 3.
Enabling On-Screen Signature (Optional) Configuring this option will allow the customer to sign on the screen and the signature will print on the receipt. If it’s not enabled the receipt will print a signature line for the customer to sign. 1.

Configure PINpad for Debit Cash Back Feature (Optional) Configuring this feature will prompt the customer for cash back when doing a debit sale. Batch must be closed before performing this change. Select the green button on the screen to confirm. Select the red button on the keypad until you are returned to the Splash Screen.
Performing a Credit Card sale Now that CRE is configured to communicate with the PINpad, we can start processing credit card sales. To process a sale with the swipe card, follow these instructions. 1. After you’ve added items to an invoice and selected Credit in CRE, the PINpad will prompt you to Tap/Insert/Swipe a card, as depicted in this image.

Performing a manual card entry In the event that the PINpad is unable to read a credit/debit card, you can manually enter the card information by following the steps below. 1. Performing a Debit Card sale with cash back (optional) To complete a debit card sale with cash back, follow the steps below. Please note that this pertains to EMV debit cards only. 1. Performing a Return In the event that a customer wants to return items for a refund, they must swipe the card they want the refund to be processed on, and the employee must enter the last 4 digits of the card number. See below for more details. 1.
Performing a Void In the event that you have to void a sale, you must enter the sales reference number on the PINpad. You can find the APPR CODE and REF numbers on the receipt of the invoice. See below for more details. 1.

Performing a Settlement/Batch Close To settle your batch at the end of the day, you must initiate the settlement in CRE, and then enter credentials on PINpad to complete the action. 1. Select the Manager or Options button and enter the credentials if prompted. 2.
