Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the USB Cat.5 Extender HID. This product has been designed
to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty
and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual
carefully and retain it for future reference.
The USB Cat.5 Extender HID can be used to extend the distance between a USB
keyboard and mouse and a host computer by up to 300m. It consists of a local unit with
a USB Type A connector to be connected to the host computer USB port and a remote
unit with two USB Type A sockets for mouse and keyboard. The extender also supports
wireless keyboards or mice. Standard Category 5e or higher network cable (UTP or
STP) up to 300m length is used to connect the two units.
Note: Do not connect the RJ45 ports to your LAN network!

Installation

Connect the local unit to your computer. Then connect the power supply and your
mouse and keyboard to the remote unit and switch on.
