Introduction
The USB KM EXTENDER can be used to extend the
distance between a standard USB keyboard and
mouse and a host computer by up to 300m / 1000
feet. It consists of a local unit with a USB Type A
connector to be connected to the host computer USB
port and a remote unit with two USB type A
receptacles for mouse and keyboard.

This extender is designed to operate STANDARD USB
Fançais
HID keyboards and mice only. It does not work with
Italiano
wireless keyboards or mouse and it does not support
any keyboard or mouse other than those with standard
drivers!
Standard Category 5 Network cable (UTP or STP) up
to 300m length (1000 feet) is used to connect the two
units.
Do NOT connect the RJ45 ports
to your LAN network!!
Specifications
Interconnect UTP/STP cable CAT5e or higher, length
up to 300m / 1000 feet with RJ45 connectors.
USB INTERFACE: USB HID mouse and keyboard
ONLY, no support for special drivers and functions, no
support for wireless keyboard / mouse.
This device registers in the USB bus as a USB
Composite Device.
Installation
Connect the local unit to your computer.
Connect the power supply and your mouse and
keyboard to the remote unit and switch on.

Einführung
Der LINDY USB-EXTENDER wird verwendet um
Distanzen zwischen Computer und USB Maus & Tastatur
auf bis zu 300m zu erweitern. Er besteht aus einer
lokalen Einheit (mit USB-Kabel mit Typ A Stecker,
Anschluss an den fernzubedienenden Rechner) und
einer Remote-Einheit (Device-Seite mit eingebauter USB
Typ A Buchse).
Der Extender ist ausschließlich für den Betrieb mit
Standard-Mäusen & -Tastaturen entwickelt worden. Er
unterstützt keine kabellosen Versionen und
ausschließlich Standardtreiber.
Zur Verbindung werden Standard-Netzwerkkabel bis zu
300m Länge (Kategorie 5e oder höher) verwendet.

Verbinden Sie den Local Unit direkt mit Ihrem Rechner.
Verbinden Sie das Netzteil und Ihre Maus & Tastatur mit
dem Remote Unit.
Schalten Sie alles ein.
