Problem
There is no signal when you
touch panel symbols.

If there is an error, first try to find a solution
to the problem yourself. If you cannot find a
solution to the problem yourself, contact
your IKEA store call centre. You can find a full

Possible cause
The signals are deactivated.
Unsuitable cookware.
No cookware on the cooking
zone.
The diameter of the bottom
of the cookware is too small
for the cooking zone.
Electronic component error.
Overheating protection for
the cooking zone operates.
Activate the signals. Refer to
OffSound Control.
Use suitable cookware.
Place cookware on the cook‐
ing zone.
Move onto a smaller cooking
zone.
Disconnect the appliance
from the electrical supply for
a few minutes. Remove the
fuse, wait one minute, and
insert the fuse again. If the
problem continues, ensure a
correct installation by calling
an authorised installer.
Deactivate the appliance. Re‐
move the hot cookware. After
approximately 30 seconds ac‐
tivate the cooking zone
again.

wrongly, or the installation was
not carried out by a registered
engineer, the visit from the After
