Setting options and additional information
[Disable], [Enable]
Enables or disables the use of the front and top control dials to navigate the setup menus, direct touch
control, direct setting mode and status screens.
[Enable During AF], [Disable During AF]
[Reverse], [Normal]
Changes the direction of the adjustment when operating the focus ring on an RF lens.
[Varies with Rotation Speed], [Linked to Rotation Degree]

This setting turns assignable button 10/13 to an alternative REC button.

When this setting is set to [On], the camera automatically adjust its date and time settings according to
the information received from the GPS signal.
• While the automatic date/time adjustment is activated, the
Time] setting will not be available.
• The time will not be updated while recording video.
[Video Output (UVC)], [Canon App(s) for iPhone], [PTP Connection/GP-E2]
Select [PTP Connection/GP-E2] when connecting the GP-E2 GPS Receiver to the camera's accessory
shoe.
[On], [Off]
When a compatible lens (A 235) is attached to the camera and the focus mode switch on the lens is set
to AF, if this setting is set to [On], the lens will retract fully when the camera is turned off.
When this setting is set to [On], turning off the camera will move the focus position. To prevent this, set
this setting to [Off]. Note that there is no guarantee that the focus position will not move, so checking the
focus position is recommended when turning on the camera.
[Close], [Open]
This setting allows you to choose whether the shutter closes or remains open when the power switch is
set to OFF.
• The [Close] setting is recommended during normal use in order to protect the camera's sensor from
dust or dirt when changing lenses.
• Select the [Open] setting when you want to reduce the sound caused by setting the power switch from
VIDEO to OFF or from OFF to VIDEO.
