Troubleshooting Guide - Compressor
FAULT FOUND
Compressor not operating, motor fails to start
Compressor not operating, motor starts
Compressor operates at reduced flow rate
Compressor stops after short periods
IMPORTANT! FOR ANY OTHER PROBLEMS, CONTACT THE NFE TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
No power
Automatic switch tripped or fuse burnt out
Overload switch tripped
Faulty condenser
Impeller blocked
Liquid level dropped and bottom valve no
longer under water
Compressor not filled with liquid or drained
due to leaks
Difference in pumping level above
compressor capacity or flow resistance too
high during suction
Compressor or pipe blockages
Overload switch tripped

RECOMMENDED REMEDY
Power the machine
Reset the switch or replace the fuses with
other suitable ones
Resets automatically after cooling in single-
phase version
Change the condenser
Foreign bodies between the fixed and
rotating parts of the compressor
Be careful, the mechanical seal could be
damaged

Replace the suction pipe with one of
bigger diameter. Reduce elbow bends to a
minimum. eliminate deposits.
