► TURN ON THE USER FEEDBACK UNIT (UFU)

Hold the power button down until the boot screen appears on the display (5 sec) - the TruNode 'App'
will launch (1 min) and the UFU will announce it battery state.
• Make sure the UFU battery is charged above 50% so it will last the procedures.
CAUTION:
If the battery charge is below 50%, turn off the UFU and charge it prior to use.
DO NOT USE THE CHARGER IN THE OPERATING ROOM.
• The flashing 'M' button on the UFU display indicates it is ready to link with a TruNode probe.
► CONNECT A TruNode® SINGLE-USE WIRELESS PROBE
After turning ON the UFU hold the Probe 'M' button down until the light on the Probe keypad is active.
• Probe life is 95-100 minutes of continuous use, for up to 4 hours after it first connects to any UFU.
• The Probe 'sleeps' after 10 minutes of inactivity (or 10 min used in Seed Mode) - reconnect by
pressing the 'M' button until the light on the probe flashes.
• If the Probe is not connected to an UFU it will 'sleep' after 30 seconds to conserve Probe life.
• The Probe can be used in its packaging to 'pre-scan' (initiates the 4-hour time limit).
• Use in Point or Scan Modes for Tc-99. Seed Mode for I-125.

► USING THE TruNode PROBE

Each button can be either 'clicked' or 'pressed' for 2 seconds to initiate a function.
• Most functions will be announced and displayed on the UFU.
• If the UFU battery depletes, TURN IT OFF, then connect to another UFU.
