Usage tips
1.
Wash your hands thoroughly
before each inhalation session.
2.
Detach the inspiratory valve
from the nebuliser.
3.
Pour in the inhalation solution.
4.
Attach the inspiratory valve
and mouthpiece or mask.
When using a mask read the
nebuliser instruction for use.
5.
Connect the nebuliser and
compressor with the
connection tubing. Connect
the compressor to the mains
power supply.
6.
Sit upright in a relaxed position
and switch on the device.
7.
Hold the mouthpiece between
your teeth and close your lips
around it.
8.
Breathe in through the
mouthpiece slowly and deeply,
then breathe out in a relaxed
manner. When a different
noise comes from the nebuliser,
this indicates that nebulisation
has finished.
9.
Switch off device. Disconnect
the nebuliser from the tubing.
Switch the device back on to
dry the tubing.
10.
Disconnect the power plug.
Hygiene tips
1.
Disassemble the nebuliser
after each use and wash all
individual parts in warm water
with dishwashing liquid, before
rinsing thoroughly in running
water.
2.
Disinfect the nebuliser once
a day for 5 minutes in boiling
water or for at least 6 minutes
in a standard commercial dis-
infector, such as one designed
for baby bottles.
3.
After every cleaning and/or
disinfection, place the parts on
a dry, clean, absorbent surface
and allow to dry completely.
4.
Store all components them in
a dry, dust-free place.
5.
Air filter, nebuliser and
connection tubing should be
replaced every year. These
components are included in
the PARI Year Packs, which
are available from your PARI
dealer. Components may
have to be replaced sooner
if they are damaged or if
contamination cannot be
removed.
