Install the TDC1 Board on an EVM
1.
Remove all power connections from the EVM.
2.
Review the EVM's User Manual and disable any peripheral resource which you plan to use on the TDC1 board. For example, if
you are using a 56858EVM board and plan to use the ESSI Port #0 to communicate with the codecs on the TDC1 board, then the
ESSI Port #0 jumpers for the audio codec will need to be removed on the EVM board.
3.
Connect the TDC1 to the EVM
• Align connectors P1 and P2 on the bottom of the TDC1 board above the 56852EVM, 56858EVM, 56F826EVM or the
56F827EVM board's connectors (J1 and J2,
respectively). The Keypad, Display and DAA portion of the TDC1 board whould be to the left side of the EVM.
• Press firmly on the TDC1 board above these two
connectors.
2
Configure the 56800TDCEVM Board
The TDC1board is shipped with all jumper blocks in the default configuration,
shown in the table at right.
