Should I switch modes on the receiver and how do I do
it?
● The receiver comes programmed in what's called ON/OFF Mode. In this mode
the tailgate will lift when you press and release the activation button (normally
A), and it will lower back down when you press and release the activation button
again.
● The receiver also has what's called Momentary Mode. In this mode you will have
to hold down the activation button continuously to keep the tailgate in the raised
position. The tailgate will stay open until you release the button.
● ON/OFF mode is the default as this is normally the preferred mode. To change
the mode, press the recessed RF button (Fig. 9) on the receiver twice. Each time
this is done, it will switch the mode between the two options.

How long will the battery last? Should I turn it off? How
often should I charge it?
● The battery will charge in just a few hours from 10%-100% via the provided wall
outlet charger.
