    8.7. Opening the hull ExR-2’s hull consists of a skeleton clad in panels that are secured to each other and the skeleton with button head screws. All of the user-serviceable components are inside the hull, so one or more of the panels will need to be removed to gain access to those components. These pictures show the location of those panels and of the screws that need to be removed (see colour coded arrows).

Any other batteries will invalidate the robot’s Ex certification. ▪ The foam strips around the inside of the battery enclosure remain secure.     9.2. Why can’t I connect to a robot? ExRobotics check whether each robot connects to the server before it’s deployed. Therefore connection issues are often because the control station hasn’t connected to the server. The most common reason is that a customer firewall has blocked access.

    Why am I surprised by the battery level reported by the cloud software? ExR-2 robots have a chip that calculates battery charge percentage based on power used. In most situations this will be accurate. However, if the robot is switched on after the quick charger has been plugged into the robot the battery percentage will always be reported as 0%.
