(1) The actual interval for changing engine oil and replacing the engine oil filter depends on the vehicle usage condi-
tions and is signaled by the warning light or message in the instrument cluster. In all cases, never exceed 1 year/10.000
km (6.213 mi). If oil degradation ratio (data collectable from diagnostic device) is more than 80% (oil quality less than
20%) engine oil and filter replacement is recommended.
(2) The replacement of the air filter in non-dusty areas is mandatory every 2 years or 20.000 km (12.500 mi). For Argen-
tina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Ur-
uguay, the filter must be replaced every 10.000 km (6.213 mi) / 1 year.
(3) The required maximum mileage for belt replacement is 30.000 km (18.641 mi); regardless of the mileage, the belt
must be replaced every 2 years.
(4) The BSG belt tensioner must be replaced every 60.000 Km (37.282 mi) / 4 years.
(5) The spark plug change interval is mileage-based only 45.000 km (27.962 mi). Yearly intervals not applicable.

(6) The actual interval for changing the vacuum pump is signaled by the warning light or message in the instrument
cluster.
(7) The E-call module's battery must be replaced every 5 years.
