    Chapter 1 - Warnings and cautions Installation and maintenance Your device will be installed by Optos trained personnel. Do not operate the device until they have completed the installation and training. Your Optos representative will configure the settings when the device is installed. These settings should not be changed in the course of normal operation.

    Care must be taken never to touch exposed parts of the device while in physical contact with a patient. If the mains cable is damaged do not use the system and contact your Optos representative, see Contact us on page 67.

    Optos’ technology is designed to operate through a minimum pupil diameter of 2 mm. Although pupil dilation is not required, the decision to dilate is a medical decision to be made by the eyecare professional.
