The three push buttons of the SCU 123 controller
1. Unit
Î Adjust the unit in which temperatures and temperature
differences shall be displayed
2. Time
Î Adjust the current time for the real time clock
The hours and minutes have to be adjusted separately, first
the hours, then the minutes. Time format is 24 hours, e. g.
15:00h = 3 pm.
3. Maximum tank temperature
Î Adjust the maximum tank temperature
4. Switch-on difference of primary loop
Î Adjust the switch-on difference
5. Switch-on difference of secondary loop
Î Adjust the switch-on difference
6. Switch-off difference
Î Adjust the switch-off difference

Î Establish the power supply
During a short initialization phase, the operating control
lamp flashes red and green.
When the controller is commissioned for the first time or
after a reset, it will run a commissioning menu. The com-

missioning menu leads the user through the most important
adjustment channels needed for operating the system.
Operating the commissioning menu:
Î Enter the channel by pressing button 3
Î The
Î Adjust the value by pressing buttons 1 and 2
Î Save the adjustment by pressing button 3 again
Î The
Î Press button 1 or 2 to switch to the next or previous
The commissioning menu consists of the following channels:
