Selecting the caller's recording
time
You can change the maximum message
recording time allotted to each caller, or set
the unit to greet callers but not record
messages.
"1 MINUTE": Caller messages are limited to
1 minute.
"UNLIMITED": Caller messages are limited
only by the amount of total recording time
available in the answering system.
"GREET ONLY": The unit plays the greeting
message but does not record caller
messages.

Select the desired setting by pressing {1}
for "1 MINUTE", {2} for "UNLIMITED" or
{3} for "GREET ONLY".

L When the recording time is set to "GREET
ONLY", the following will be displayed.
Turning the recording quality on/
off
The unit can record messages in either high
or normal quality mode. In normal quality
mode, the total recording time is
approximately 20 minutes.
Answering System Features (KX-TCD445 only)
In high quality mode, recording quality is
improved, but the total recording time is
reduced to approximately 10 minutes.

for "ON" (high) or {2} for "OFF" (normal).

Turning the monitor on/off
You can select whether the greeting
message and the caller message are heard
through the unit's receiver and speaker
when the unit answers a call.
