Hot Swap LED

The SAM provides a blue hot swap LED. This LED indicates when it is safe to remove the SAM
from a live shelf.

The software running on the shelf manager mezzanine is responsible for turning the LED on/off
using the GPIOs on the ShMC.

SAM Status LEDs

Status is shown using an LED on the SAM face plate. The illumination state of the LED is
normally controlled by the GPIO on the SAM. The following tables describe the LED states.
