4.3 Set Wi-Fi network connection between
the Camera and the Parent unit
Note
This feature helps to extend the wireless range between
the Camera and Parent Unit by using the Wi-Fi router as
a bridge. Please pair the camera via Wi-Fi with KODAK
Smart Home App to get the latest firmware version for
this feature.

The following conditions are required when the Parent
Unit switches to Router mode
• Both the Camera and the Parent unit must be
connected to the internet via same primary
WiFi SSID. In case, the camera connects to an
alternative Wi-Fi SSID, the parent unit won't be
able to find the camera.
• Do not hard reset or remove camera from the
mobile application
• Do not pair the camera to another Wi-Fi SSID
when both the devices are already connected to
a specific Wi-Fi router.
