General information

This quick guide will assist you in handling the device. This quick guide does not replace the description in
the comprehensive operating instructions under

Condition of use
NOTE
When retrofitting a DC breaker, it may be necessary to modify the installation height of the inverter to pro-
vide adequate space for installing the supply cable.
In the downloads area of our website you will find the calculated distance measurements in the
erating instructions

The quick guide that is provided is a constituent part of the component.

2.1
Intended use
The device is intended for indoor and outdoor applications and may only be used in countries for which it has been ap-
proved or for which it has been released by KACO new energy and the grid operator.
Operate the device only with a permanent connection to the public power grid. The country and grid type selection
must be commensurate with the respective location and grid type.
The enclosed documentation is an integral part of the product. The documentation must be read, observed and stored
in a place which is freely accessible at all times.
The name plate must be permanently attached to the product.
Any other use is regarded as unintended use.
This includes:

Use of sources other than PV-strings.
ž
Mobile use
ž
Use in rooms where there is a risk of explosion
ž
Use in direct sunlight, rain or a storm or in other tough environmental conditions
ž
Outdoor use in environmental conditions that exceed the limits stated in the technical specifications >Environmen-
tal data.

Operation outside the specifications prescribed by the manufacturer

Remarks on the component
A warning sticker is affixed to the component. Read the warnings carefully.
Do not remove the sticker. If the sticker is missing or is illegible, please contact a KACO representative or distributor.

Education concerning the installation and start-up of electrical units and plants.

Training in the handling of hazards and risks during the installation and operation of electrical units and plants.

ž
Knowledge and adherence to this document with all safety notices.
