    Wall Mount Installation Attach the Drilling Paper to the wall and mark the two screw holes on the wall. Screw the support screws to the wall. Leave some space between the wall and screws for hanging the camera on the wall later.

  • Page 15 Secure the fixture on the rear side panel of the camera. Don’t screw tight at this stage. You can select among the four screw holes for screwing the fixtures. Place the metal washers on the mount holes of TV. [Note] If users do not need to install the mount rack of TV, just skip step 3 to 5 and go to step 6. Place mount rack of TV on top of fixture.
  • Page 16 Secure the mount rack and fixture on the TV. Please do not screw tight at this stage. Then, adjust the mount rack and fixture to an appropriate position if needed. Finally, tightly screw all screws. If users don’t need to install mount rack of TV, then, secure the fixture on the TV. Then, adjust the fixture to an appropriate position if needed.

    Remote Control Name Function One-click automatic FOV adjustment to fit all participants in screen 1. SmartFrame for one time. Press and hold the button for 1~2 sec to switch from manual to auto framing mode or Off. An icon message (as figure shown) will display on the left upper screen to indicate in SmartFrame status.

    Installation Device Connection Connect VB342 Pro to PC/laptop with provided USB 2.0* cable and connect the power cord of VB342 Pro to power wall outlet. [Note] Use the supplied Velcro strap to secure and manage the cable. Connect TV/HDMI monitor to VB342 Pro through the HDMI cable.

    BT Dongle Installation Use VB342 Pro as mobile phone’s external audio device When using mobile phone to have a video call, user can connect their mobile phone to VB342 Pro via Bluetooth wireless connection to enjoy crystal clear audio quality.

    [Note] Cable is included with optional expansion speakerphone. There are two lengths of cables - 10m and 20m. 1. The port won’t be used while using with AVer video bar, such as VB342 Pro and VB350. It doesn’t support daisy chain connection.

    PTZApp 2, refer to the PTZApp 2 section in this user manual. Make a Connection through the Browser VB342 Pro has an Ethernet port for IP streaming and allows administrators to remotely control and set up the camera via an internet access. Moreover, VB342 Pro also supports RTSP and RTMP functions.

    Web Settings VB342 Pro supports Ethernet connection; users can enter the IP address into the web browser to connect to the camera for detail settings. First Time Login To find the IP address of the camera; please refer to “Make a Connection through the Browser”...

    Live Screen Operation User can control the camera direction, zoom in/out, and set preset position. [Note] The system will force the previous login to log out, when there is a second login. If the web page is idle without any request for more than 4 hours, user will be logged out. The resolution of live screen is 848x480/ 5fps.

    Set up the Preset User can set 10 preset positions. In live screen, use mouse to scroll up or down and click the preset number frame (0~9). Use ▲ , ▼ , ,  and zoom in/out buttons to adjust the camera screen view to desired position. Click “Set”...

    Camera Settings The video icon is to turn on camera live view while doing any settings. IP icon shows the IP address of the camera. Live screen preview Click the icon to show/hide people count number & stream interval. Click the icon to hide people count number and the time interval of enabling the live streaming of the camera.

    [Note] VB342 Pro frames people in masks or any facial profile up to 7~8 meters away!  Audio Tracking: After detecting the sound, camera focuses at the speaker and zooms in. The camera moving path will be shown in the screen.
  • Page 34 Smart Frame Preset Point Select Setting > Camera > Smart Frame Preset Point > Central Of The Screen Image, Preset 0, Preset 1, Preset 2, Preset 3, Preset 4, Preset 5, Preset 6, Preset 7, Preset 8 or Preset 9. This is to assign camera’s capturing area to do manual framing.

Keep showing the gesture for 2~3 seconds to trigger the camera to act. The following are the corresponding function names and gesture figures.

    Microphone only picks up the sound within viewing angle. Choose a suitable camera viewing area to silence the sound beyond the meeting area. [Note] All the AI tracking functions, pan, tilt, and zoom in/out will be disabled while audio fence is on. Auto Focus Set auto focus mode.

    Sleep Position When the camera idles for certain period, it will enter sleep mode and go to the sleep position. Please set up sleep timer to enable sleep mode.     Low Resolution under 720p Enable/disable to lower down the resolution under 720p. Select Setting > Image > Low resolution under 720p > Disable or Enable. Enlarge Total Zoom Up to 15x Enable/Disable enlarge zoom up to 15x. Select Setting > Image > Enlarge Total Zoom Up to 15x > Disable or Enable. [Note] 15x zoom is available for 720p or lower resolution.

    Video Format Settings H.264 Profile While in live broadcasting, user can choose preferable profile to get best streaming quality. Select Video Format > H.264 Profile > Baseline Profile or High Profile. [Note] RTSP, RTMP will not be available while USB streaming is in use.

    IP Stream Resolution Set up the resolution for IP stream. Not supported for USB video stream.     Update the camera’s firmware. Select System > FW Update > Auto Update or Manual Update.  Auto Update: The system will check firmware version from AVer server and request to update.  Manual Update: To update the firmware from specific location.

    Factory Default Reset the camera back to factory default setting. 1. Select System > Factory Default > Reset. 2. User can choose to keep current IP address or back to default. 3. In full screen mode, user can use direction panel to control camera direction. Click “ ” icon to go back to normal screen view. The resolution of full screen mode is 1080p/ 30fps.
