4. Turn the assembly the right way up and place it on the base. Align the element with the guides in the grill
base and push the element into place. You will hear a slight "click" as the safety switch engages.
5. Make sure the four prongs on the rack are inserted into the holes in the corners of the tray as shown and
the assembly is secure.

USING THE GRILL

1. Site your BBQ Grill on a firm, flat, heat-resistant
work surface.
2. Make sure the appliance is disconnected from
the mains.
3. Remove the Grill Element and Rack assembly
from the base
4. Pour a small quantity of water into the drip tray
ensuring that the water level does not exceed
the MAX mark.
5. Replace the Grill Element and Rack assembly
on the base following the instructions above.
Check that the rack is firmly attached to the
base before proceeding.
6. Place the food on the grill rack. If you are grilling
more than one item spread them out evenly
over the rack surface.
7. Plug the power cord into the supply mains
and switch the supply on. The operating
light will come on indicating the appliance is
operational.
The element contains a safety switch. If the
element is incorrectly inserted the grill will not
operate. This is a safety feature. If this happens
remove and re-insert the element.
8. The first time the grill is turned on, let it operate
for a short period without food on it. During
this operation some smoke and odours may be
emitted. This is normal and will soon cease. This
need only be done once.
