Make sure the power cord never comes into
contact with the hot parts of the appliance. Never
pass the mains lead over the appliance until the
surfaces have cooled down completely.
Before connecting the plug to the mains socket,
check that the heating element is correctly
seated.
When the drip tray contains hot water and
fat from the barbecue, take special care when
removing the griddle and the heating element.
The temperature of the accessible surfaces may
be very high when the appliance is in use and
for a period after use. Never touch those surfaces
during use. Ensure the appliance has cooled
down before cleaning and storing it.
Make sure the appliance never comes into
contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire
might occur.
Never place sheets of aluminium, containers or
other materials which could impede the normal
air flow over the appliance when in use.
Be extremely careful, as oil or fat preparations
might catch fire when overheated.
Only use the appliance for food that is supposed
to be cooked on top of the element.
The appliance must not be positioned beneath
cupboards.
Do not attempt to move the appliance until
completely cooled down and all food is
removed.
Do not place the appliance near flammable
materials such as a curtain in order to prevent
fire.
The appliance is not intended to be controlled
by an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised . There are no user
serviceable parts in your appliance.
