IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Please follow all the safety precautions
listed below for safety and to reduce
the risk of injury or electrical shock.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when
in use. Keep out of the reach of children or
incompetent persons.
If the mains socket is incompatible with that of
the appliance, have the plug changed with one
suitable by a skilled professional.
From time to time check the cord for damage.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged
cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If the supply
cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or similar
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and/or
extension leads is not recommended. If there
is no alternative, use only single or multiple
adaptors and extension leads which comply
with current safety regulations, and do not to
exceed the current rating marked on the adaptor
or extension lead,
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes
and in the way indicated in these instructions.
The appliance must only be used for the
purpose for which it was expressly designed -
as an electric grill. All other uses are considered
improper and therefore dangerous.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never
place it in a dishwasher.
Never grasp the operating appliance with wet
hands or feet.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged
cord or plug, or in abnormal state. If the supply

Disconnect the plug from the socket when the
appliance is not operating or when you want to
clean it or add water in the drip tray.

recommended by the manufacturer. They could
constitute a danger to the user and damage the
appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord.
Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any
way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance
and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance only on a heatproof table or
flat heatproof surface.
Ensure the appliance is positioned away from
the edge of work surfaces and out of the reach
of children and people insensitive to heat.
Ensure the appliance has cooled down before
cleaning and storing it.
