CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning should be carried out after every use.
Unplug the grill from the mains and let it cool
fully.
Hold the grill securely and lift the element
together with the grill rack off the grill.
Separate the element and the grill rack.
Remove the Element From the Grill.
Remove the drip tray from the base.
The drip tray and the grill rack should be
well washed in warm soapy water, rinsed
thoroughly and then carefully dried. The base of
the appliance should be wiped with a wet cloth
and then carefully dried.
Clean the heater element (refer to page 5).
Avoid the use of abrasive cleaning materials as
these may damage the appliance surfaces.
We do not advise the use of a dishwasher to clean
any components of this appliance.
Store the appliance fully assembled with the
power cord loosely coiled in a cupboard out of
the reach of children and pets.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the grill element is not properly inserted,
the safety switch will not operate and the
power light will not illuminate when the grill is
connected to the mains supply.
If this occurs:
Unplug the appliance from the mains. Ensure
the element and rack assembly is cool and lift
it off the base.
Replace the element and rack assembly on the
base.
Plug the grill into the mains point and switch on at
the mains. The grill should now operate normally.
